The scope of work consisted of full removal of the existing plaza pavers along all facades, the installation of a new waterproofing system throughout the plaza area, above active studios and the main “News Corp” electrical feed center. The new over burden that was placed over the waterproofing consisted of granite pavers that were supplied by a quarry in Canada. Merritt Engineering Consultants monitored the progress and quality of the work on a weekly basis, reviewed quality of all granite pavers delivered to the site and provided monthly updated progress reports and schedules for the owners review with “News Corp” representatives.
