The scope of work completed by Merritt Engineering at The Rockefeller Apartments, a New York City Landmark property included the removal of all main roofs, bulkhead roofs and terraces, and replacement with a new roofing system. In addition, new quarry tile surface was utilized for the terrace area. While the roof replacement was in progress on one building, Local Law 11/98 façade repairs were performed on the other. The façade and Local Law repairs included masonry repointing of the brick joints throughout the façades and bulkheads, cracked and deteriorated brick replacement, lintel replacement with new flashing, window sill replacement and coping stone repairs.
