DOB NOW – FAÇADE EFILING

On September 12, 2016, the DOB will launch its new interactive web-based portal, transforming all in-person and paper-based interactions into a complete online experience.

What does this mean for Building Owners?

All Building Owners must register with DOB NOW to use the new online portal, allowing them to sign off on façade compliance filings uploaded by their Engineer or Architect of Record.

ECB AMNESTRY PROGRAM

If you have any outstanding ECB violations or fines, you will be happy to learn that from September 12, 2016 through December 12, 2016, the Department of Finance will be administering an ECB Amnesty Program to forgive open/unpaid violations and fines.   

• To check whether or not your property has outstanding judgments/fines from ECB violations, click here for the Buildings Information System. Enter in your building address, then on the Property Information page, scroll down to the ECB Violations link.
