Principal
As principal, Mr. Cirigliano is responsible for fulfilling contracts, maintaining day-to-day communication with clients and managing internal and external resources. With over 29 years of architectural and engineering experience, Mr. Cirigliano is an expert in building restoration, waterproofing and roofing. His excellent organization and communication skills are an asset on complex projects, including large scale emergency repair projects. As a Vice President at Merritt Engineering, Mr. Cirigliano has the ability to coordinate design and project management teams, oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously, and correspond with numerous property owners, facility managers.
Principal
As principal, Mr. Krepcio has more than 17 years of professional experience in civil/structural engineering design, construction and project management for commercial and residential clients. He has successfully coordinated projects from start to finish including conducting initial field surveys, plans and specification development, and extensive onsite construction monitoring. Mr. Krepcio’s most valuable asset is his communication skills. Throughout the construction process he diligently works with employees, vendors, and clients to make sure each project runs smoothly. As Principal, Mr. Krepcio is simultaneously overseeing multiple façade, roof and garage restoration projects with numerous property owners and facility managers. His ability to maintain project schedules and budgets assures clients that projects will be completed on time and correctly.
Principal
As Principal, Jennifer provides strategic direction and oversight for the business operations, client development, marketing, sales, HR and finances at Merritt Engineering.
Having been raised around the business and watching her father grow the company from a young age, Jennifer always had a strong desire to pursue a path in business. A few years after graduating from NYU Stern School of Business, and developing a strong foundation in business, market research and sales, she decided to join forces with her father, Charles, to help further grow Merritt Engineering. Jennifer took on the role of Marketing Director in 2008, where she created and managed the company’s marketing strategies, PR and sales initiatives. She later shifted her focus to the strategic operations of the business; identifying and executing on priorities that impact the firm’s ongoing projects and overall success.
Today, Jennifer works closely with the executive team to ensure that goals are met and clients are satisfied. Her primary goal is to ensure the continuous growth and development of the firm, enabling her team members to thrive in their critical roles and projects, thereby providing a quality engineering service to customers.
Sr. Vice President
As Sr. Vice President at Merritt Engineering Consultants, P.C. with 27 years of experience, Ms. Konfederak is an expert in high rise building restoration and waterproofing. With a consistent track record of success Ms. Konfederak manages hundreds of projects from initiation to closing in the tri-state area for residential, commercial and institutional clients including hospitals and schools. She has consulted on large scale emergency repairs due to water infiltration, fire and structural collapse. Ms. Konfederak is responsible for multi-million dollar budgets and up to 30 field and office employees. Her sparkling reputation for bottom-line orientation, high quality and on-time delivery in challenging situations is well known in the industry. Ms. Konfederak is a strong leader who inspires confidence and trust in her staff and motivates them to perform at high levels to consistently meet project and client expectations.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Mouzouris has over 18 years of experience in conducting and overseeing façade investigations and restorations, window and roofing replacement projects as well as mechanical alteration projects.
As a Sr. Project Manager at Merritt Engineering, he is responsible f initial pre-proposal client meeting, establishing scopes of work, preliminary budgets, proposal writing, bidding analysis, preparation of construction documents, attendance at meetings, coordinating expediting of City of New York Landmarks Preservation Commission approvals and Department of Buildings Work Permits.
Senior Project Manager
As Sr. Project Manager and a Project Engineer for Merritt Engineering Consultants, P. C., Mr. Ramirez is involved with conducting engineering inspections of building exterior walls and façades, as well as construction administration for various façade restoration projects.
As a licensed PE, with over 21 years of experience, his expertise is in the preparation of contract documents including plans and specifications for building restoration projects, as well as providing structural engineering assistance and review of calculations for several projects.
Director of Marketing
As Marketing Director, Heather takes a proactive approach to business development and all facets of Marketing at Merritt Engineering.
During her time at Merritt, she has developed and implemented effective marketing strategies while successfully executing several other tasks on a daily basis including: proposal writing, client outreach, marketing material enhancement, company event planning, as well as driving all social media and PR efforts.
Acting as a liaison between in-house staff and clients, Heather is working closely with the Vice Presidents and Sr. Project Managers on a daily basis to ensure project milestones are met and clients are pleased with their experience.
Sr. Project Manager
With over 18 years of engineering experience, Mr. Carlos Hostin, LEED AP, is primarily responsible for performing Property Condition Assessments (PCAs) and Plan & Cost Reviews in accordance with ASTM standards as well as local, state and federal regulations. Specifically Mr. Hostin conducts initial site visits, interviews, and takes representative photographs. After appropriate document review, he complies a report with corresponding documentation, including forecasted budgets, prioritized repairs, payment requisitions, lien waivers, etc. Over the years Mr. Hostin has maintained excellent relations with his banking clients including TD Bank, New York Community Bank, Valley National Bank, First Niagara, Sun National, among many others.
Sr. Project Manager
Mr. Khan has 13 years of experience in building envelope restoration and design, and has been involved in numerous restoration projects in New York State. Mr. Khan has experience in coordinating and supervising projects for multiple clients including Schools, Hotels and Hospitals, Commercial and Residential towers, Financial Institutions and Sports Arenas. At Merritt Engineering, his responsibilities include building surveys and validating evaluations, determining scope of work, designing drawings and specifications, and supervising the work in progress. In addition, Mr. Khan specializes in budget analysis for multi-scale landmark restoration projects.
Sr. Project Manager
As an experienced design professional, Paul has worked on residential, commercial, transportation and institutional projects. He is proficient in construction documents and exterior envelopes of various construction types for both vertical and horizontal enclosures. Paul has managed many projects from inception through construction administration along with client reviews and on-site construction meetings, while managing pressing deadlines to meet project deliverables. He is a strong advocate of technology implementation and research and teaches college senior level design courses at the School of Visual Arts and NYC College of Technology.
Sr. Project Manager
Mr. Ali Battawi has over 14 years of experience in Project Management and Civil and Structural Engineering. He is responsible for managing projects from conception to completion. In addition, he has experience as a drafter of curtain wall designs, and understands concepts from drawing to application. Ali has a B.S. in Civil Engineering, is a certified Project Management Professional and working towards his Professional Engineer certification.

Mr. Fadhil has over 9 years’ experience in Project Management and Engineering, managing multi-million dollar commercial and residential construction projects. At Merritt Engineering, his responsibilities include building envelope upgrades and renovation, roofing, garage restoration, and building structure design and reinforcement.

Mr. Sullivan has over 20 years’ experience providing project management, design and engineering support for all phases of HVAC design and mechanical building systems. He has conducted building conditions assessments, heat loss/gain calculations, building retrofits, and energy conservation projects for commercial, residential, healthcare, educational and industrial buildings.

Jon brings over 10 years’ experience in structural design, restoration projects and construction management. He has led the design and analysis of a wide variety of projects including retaining walls, steel structures, and repair of residential buildings. Jon has conducted field investigations of various types of structures, prepared technical reports, proposals, contract documents and has also supervised construction phases. Jon currently holds a PE License and is well-versed in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Procore.
Sr. Project Manager
Joe brings 25+ years of experience in building envelope restoration and forensic projects. As a certified Special Inspector, Joe has performed structural masonry and steel reinforcement special inspections. He also specializes in the design of structural masonry repairs, including window lintels, masonry crack repairs, and waterproofing in cavity wall and solid wall construction. He is proficient in conducting building envelope assessments, water penetration surveys, structural assessments, pre-construction surveys, and building code reviews.
Project Manager
Humza has experience as an estimator, working with quantity take-offs on and construction cost estimates, preparing bids and reviewing necessary contracts and submittals. He is proficient in AutoCAD, Surveying, and Construction Project Scheduling.

Hardat brings experience in Project Management including inspection, plans, reports, and calculations. As a graduate of Manhattan College with a BS in Civil Engineering, he is also proficient in AutoCAD design and Special Inspections for Concrete and Steel.

A graduate from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Hamid is proficient in the preparation of schematic design and construction documents, as well as performing scaffold and safety inspections. He has worked on projects involving the repair and maintenance of roofs, doors, walls, floors and windows.

Dave has over 9 years of experience as a Project Manager, managing multi-million construction projects including commercial shopping malls, US army service complexes, residential buildings, and building envelope projects. He specializes in the preparation of project specifications, bid documents, and design drawings, as well as monitoring budgets and construction schedules. In addition, he has experience supervising construction activities, ensuring compliance with design drawings and relevant construction codes.
Project Manager
With 10 years of professional experience, Bill has completed engineering design solutions for various commercial and residential projects, providing specifications and drawings for exterior and interior projects including façade repairs, roofing, concrete, sidewalk vaults and structural beam work. In addition, he has overseen construction for $3+ million projects including projects.
Project Manager
Jesus has both construction and project management experience, overseeing large scale restoration projects. At Merritt Engineering, he is responsible for coordinating work duties with contractors and field personnel to ensure timely execution of project goals, conducting site safety programs for various restoration projects, and creating weekly progress reports to track projects.
