With more than 24 years of professional experience in engineering design, construction, and project management for commercial and residential clients, Mr. Krepcio coordinates projects from start to finish. As Principal at Merritt Engineering, he is responsible for fulfilling contracts, maintaining day-to-day communication with clients and managing internal and external resources. Mr. Krepcio’s most valuable asset is his communication skills. Throughout the construction process he diligently works with employees, vendors, and clients to make sure each project runs smoothly.
Specific tasks and duties include conducting initial field surveys, designing plans and specifications, and extensive onsite construction monitoring. From the critical examination itself, to the required follow-up work, including preparing contract documents for the repairs, assisting in bidding and negotiation with qualified contractors, through the construction monitoring phase. As a Professional Engineer, QEWI (Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector), and QPSI (Qualified Parking structure Inspector), his expertise covers an entire spectrum of exterior building envelope repairs including: Facade Inspection Safety Program (Local Law 11/98), Facade Restoration (Precast Concrete, EIFS, Curtain Wall and Masonry), Balcony & Terrace Repair, Roofing & Waterproofing, Parking Structure Assessments & Repairs (Local Law 126), Sidewalk and Plaza Design, Window & Door Replacement and Historic Façade Preservation.
