The Prasada, located at 50 Central Park West in New York City, originally constructed in 1907, is a prewar building known for its intricate exterior details and impressive entrance. This famous landmark building had visible façade deterioration which Merritt Engineering Consultants, P.C. was hired to address in a multi-million dollar restoration project.The scope of work included a full facade restoration, sidewalk & vault restoration, steel reinforcement & replacement and a complete restoration of the grand front entrance.Merritt also provided the special inspection services on this project, including Structural Stability inspections required by the NYC Building Code, throughout the entire project.
